Digital keys Management Sytem
Senptec’s digital key management system leverages digital keys and biometric recognition technology to convert traditional physical keys on vehicles into digital authorizations. This system enables efficient control and management of driving and usage permissions for fleet managers. Utilizing a smartphone app or PC-based platform, managers can swiftly issue driver authorizations to vehicle terminals, employing methods such as fingerprint, facial recognition, card swipe, driver assistant (mobile app), or cloud platform for startup authentication.
Customer Value of Digital Keys
Security Enhancements
Authenticity and legality
Ensuring the authenticity and legality of drivers’ identities is a challenge in fleet management, especially in large fleets or with third-party contractor drivers. Unauthorized use of vehicles by external personnel can occur. A digital key management system can effectively prevent unauthorized drivings.
Reliable Handover
Some public vehicles are parked in uncontrolled areas at night. In traditional way of handover, keys would be left inside vehicle; there is a risk of unauthorized individuals take the vihecle. A digital key management system eliminates the need for physical keys handover, effectively preventing such incidents.
Authorization Granting
In cases of driver shortages or absences, fleets may need temporary or substitute drivers. Rapid verification of these drivers’ identities would be a challenge. A digital key management system may expedite the issuance of driving permissions through a mobile app or platform.
Emergency Response
In certain emergency cases requiring quick vehicle move, deliver the phyical key of the specific vehicle may delay response times. A digital key management system allows multiple site managers within the company to simultaneously have startup permissions, enabling immediate vehicle activation to minimize losses and impacts.
Digital Management
Driver-Vehicle Binding: When vehicles are shared among multiple drivers, the lack of precise correspondence between personnel, vehicles, and shifts creates blind spots in management. This situation complicates management improvements and assessments. Utilizing a digital key management platform to establish driver-vehicle binding, enables digital management of fleet operations and vehicle conditions. This approach can assist in safety management, maintenance scheduling, efficiency improvement, cost reduction, and route optimization..
Remote Management: Traditional vehicle management requires managers to deliver instructions and repeatedly verify them. A digital key management system enables hierarchical vehicle authorization and facilitates functions such as light inspection, remote climate control, startup via smartphone, fault notifications, vehicle monitoring, diagnostics, and maintenance reminders. These features ennable fleet management effectively and efficiently.
Convenient Dispatching: During vehicle dispatching and driver authorization adjustments, traditional management involves offline processes and face-to-face handovers. A digital key management system enables remote management via smartphones or other devices, providing fleet managers with greater flexibility to quickly authorize or revoke driver access to vehicles.
Regulations Complience: Fleet management of public mobility requires adherence to various traffic laws and industry standards, including driving time limits, rest period regulations, and load restrictions. A digital key management system will assist fleet management in establishing robust recording and supervisory mechanisms, better preparing them for audits, compliance checks, and accident investigations.
Hardwares Facilated
Alcohol lock (Optional)
Alcohol lock is optional for digital key, driver who failed to pass the alcohol testing will not be allowed to start the vehicle, meanwhile, there is a warn message will be promt to backgroud of the platform and the fleet manager will takes fast action to suspend the authoriation of the driver, to prevent drunk driving.
CAN data recorder (Optional)
CAN Data Recorder, commonly known as “black box”, can record various vehicle status data. The digital key management system can be equipped with a CAN data recorder, enabling millisecond-level real-time storage of vehicle data. The platform can monitor vehicle data and operational status in real-time, review abnormal vehicle data, and transimit vehicle fault data to the backend. This helps fleet managers identify faults promptly and ensure vehicles are always in optimal operating condition.
Application Scenario
Appliation Senario of Digital Keys ( For Citybus)
Softwares Facilated (Optional)
Clound Platform
The vehicle cloud platform may collect vehicle data of its running status, CAN procotol, fault alarm prompt, and poor driving behaviors. By ultlizing the datas, it achieves to enhance vehicle safety management and optmize predictive maintenance. Additionally, the data can be integrated with other platforms as well.
Vehicle Maintenance Management Platform
Vehicle maintenance management platform is based on comprehensive and in-depth understanding and summarization of the industry’s mechanical management scenarios, work flows and management experience. It utilises the technology of IoT, mobile internet, big data, cloud computing, AI, and makes integration of information systems within the enterprise and datas of vehicles, to realizes the online and digitalization of the whole scenario and workflow of the mechanical service, so as to establish the digital brain of mechanical service management and promote the overall solution for the digital transformation of mechanical service management.
Preventive Management of Safety Hazards:1. Develop and monitor maintenance schedules, inspection plans, etc., to proactively prevent safety risks.2.Early detection, warning, and management of vehicle safety hazards, with a particular focus on anomalies in safety-critical systems such as braking and steering systems.
Digitalized maintenance promptly addresses safety issues that arise by adhering to repair standards, ensuring vehicles operate at optimal performance and safety levels, thereby guaranteeing safe driving conditions.
Digitalized maintenance plays a crucial role in enhancing preventive and mitigation measures for both the departments responsible for vehicle use and management. In the event of accidents, comprehensive records including technical files, maintenance procedures, standards, and logs are readily accessible. This capability significantly enhances the ability to prevent and mitigate management liabilities.
