Senptec has introduced its Digital Power Distribution Module, a next-generation solution designed to upgrade traditional vehicle electrical systems into intelligent, centralized architectures.
By utilizing automotive-grade high-power semiconductor chips to replace conventional fuses and relays, the module enables real-time monitoring, precise current control, and rapid fault response. In the event of short circuits, overcurrent, or overheating, the system can activate protection mechanisms within as fast as 17 microseconds, significantly reducing potential fire hazards caused by wiring harness wear.
The solution also supports full-vehicle current digitalization, enhancing system visibility, predictive maintenance capabilities, and overall operational safety.
Widely applied across buses, coaches, trucks, and construction machinery, the product has been adopted by leading commercial vehicle manufacturers such as BYD, Yutong, Zhongtong, King Long, Higer, and Foton. To date, over 100,000 units have been deployed in real-world applications.
